A monthly night of real conversation.
Where: Goring Methodist Church (small hall), Bury Dr, Goring-by-Sea, Worthing BN12 4XB
Getting there: 10-minute walk from Goring-by-Sea train station, the 701 bus route, and car parking available.
When: Once a month on a Thursday, 6 - 8pm. Doors open from 5:45pm - come early for a cuppa.
Next gathering: Thursday 22 October. Limited spaces available.
Cost: £8 per person (includes light refreshments).
Is this you?
You're a woman living in West Sussex. You're surrounded by people all day, yet real conversation is strangely hard to find. The kind where you're not organising anyone, fixing anything, or performing being fine. The kind you have with your best mate at 1am, where the topic wanders somewhere unexpected and you leave feeling more like yourself.
That's what this is. Once a month. Ten minutes from your front door.
What actually happens...
Each month we take one big topic and actually talk about it. Friendships, and where they all went. Confidence, and whether anyone really has it. Beauty standards. Social media. Spirituality. Death. AI. Even whether we're alone in the universe.
You'll sit at small tables with tea and question cards, talk properly, swap tables halfway so you meet more of the room, and some months we'll have a guest speaker to spark things off.
No forced sharing. No standing up and introducing yourself. Come as you are, say as much or as little as you like.
Questions you might have...
Is this for women only?
Yes, this is a women only event. All women are welcome, and if you're non-binary and feel this space is for you, you're welcome too.
Do I have to speak?
No. Say as much or as little as you like. Listening is a completely welcome way to spend the evening.
Can I come alone?
Yes, and most women do. The evening is designed so that walking in alone feels easy, and leaving alone feels optional.
What if I don't know anyone?
That's the point. Small tables, question cards, and a table swap halfway mean the room does the introducing for you.
What if I can't make it after booking?
Tickets are non-refundable, as the hall hire is paid in advance whether or not everyone makes it. Thank you for understanding - it's what keeps these evenings running.
Is this a therapy or coaching session?
No. It's a conversation night. Dom happens to be a coach, but this evening is about the room, not about her.
